BioProc2 or BioProc3 Data Processing Systems

(Version 3.10 build 017, 1 November 2012)

This page provides access to software that may be used to process and analyze various types of analog data files, including:
Ariel Performance Analysis System analog data (.ANA),
    Biometrics DataLink analog data (.LOG),
    bioPlux text files ver.1 (.TXT),
    DelSys EMG data (.EMG, .CSV),
    Tekscan F-Scan ASCII data (.ASG),
Chattecx KinCom ASCII files (.CHT etc.),
    Kistler BioWare2 analog data (.DAT),
European Data Format files (.EDF and .REC),
Motion Analysis Corporation ASCII files (.ANA, .ANB, .ANC),
National  Instruments BioBench and VI Logger ASCII files (.BBT, .TXT),
Vicon analog and ASCII data files (.C3D, .VAD, .CSV, .TXT),
    Wave audio files (.WAV),
and several other file formats including columnated ASCII files.

The software can be used to generate waveforms and test various data smoothing techniques for educational purposes. Its graphical display permits the simultaneous viewing and analysis of up to 64 signals. It is suitable for analyzing force platform, EMG, accelerometer or force transducer signals and for correcting bias levels or filtering unwanted noise.

Files:

  • BioProc2.exe (2.5 Mb) Latest version of BioProc2. Note, you must run the installation program, bpwin2.zip, once prior to your first use of BioProc2.
  • Quick reference guide to BioProc2
  • Powerpoint presentations:
  • Signal Processing (data smoothing, normalizing data, correlation, graphing, etc.)
  • EMG Analysis (including ensemble averaging, Fourier analysis)
  • Force and Work Analyses (including impact analysis, angular impulse)
  • Visual3D for Inverse Dynamics and Moment Power Analysis

  • How to install the system: To install, download the BPWIN2.EXE file to a hard disk subdirectory, such as, C:\TEMP. If an archiver program such as WinZip or PowerArchiver is installed the archive should open automatically. To obtain a copy of PowerArchiver click the following URL: http://www.powerarchiver.com.

Once the program has been installed you may install upgrades by just copying the file BioProc2.exe to the program directory you selected during installion.
